We’re often contacted by people who want to make a donation to support our work. Although The Meatrix and Sustainable Table do not accept donations, many other organizations working to fight factory farms can make good use of your financial assistance. Here are a few outstanding organizations to which you might consider donating:
Food & Water Watch (Washington D.C.)
Animal Welfare Institute

Food & Water Watch challenges the corporate control and abuse of our food and water resources by empowering people to take action and by transforming the public consciousness about what we eat and drink. They work on food safety, agriculture, fisheries, and water rights in a four-pronged effort: public and policymaker education, lobbying, media, and Internet activism. Food & Water Watch wants citizens to speak up, get involved at the grassroots level and push for change in their communities.

AWI is a non-profit charitable organization founded in 1951 to reduce the sum total of pain and fear inflicted on animals by humans. In the organization’s early years its particular emphasis was on the desperate needs of animals used for experimentation. In the decades that followed they expanded their scope to address many other areas of animal suffering. Today one of their greatest areas of emphasis is cruel animal factories, which raise and slaughter pigs, cows, chickens and other animals.
